Tri-County Gun & Rod Club Archery League

Target Tuesday at Tri-County Gun & Club Archery League

Tri-county Archery League

My son and I are very thankful for Tri-County Gun & Club Archery 3 Spot League. When the light starts to fade creating conditions that you can’t shoot archery in, it is very hard to find a location to shoot with adequate lighting at a reasonable cost. Tri-County totally provides us this opportunity to practice a skill we love and we would invite any fellow archer to attend with us to grow in both experience and friends. Be thankful in all circumstances. – 1 Thessalonians 5:18

This past week I definitely improved my score over last week in our Archery league. After shooting a 406 (9.01 per arrow) I felt pretty good that my small improvement on my release was effect. That tiny change was to start using back tension in order to pull through my thumb trigger release. The prior week I shot a 386 (8.58 per arrow) and was a little disappointed that I shot one arrow without a point that scored a miss! That’s why a league is a great experience, if you don’t like what happens this week, there’s always next week to improve!
